Pursuing his passion for editing and literature, after graduating with a degree in creative writing, Dylan Emerick-Brown moved to the great Northeast in order to be closer to opportunities in the publishing world. Having worked with multiple literary maga
zines and finding inefficiencies within the publishing field, he eventually came to realize that he had what it took to lead rather than follow in this industry. And so, the online literary magazine Splash of Red was born.
Still unsatisfied with his impact on the literary world and encouraged by those who had benefited from their editorial experience with him, Emerick-Brown developed the idea for a freelance editing service to foster and constructively influence the pulse of literature on a broader level. Utilizing his unique skills and uncompromising passion, he continues to manage Splash of Red while now, in a more hands-on manner, helping writers reach their full potential to make their own mark on literature.
